Indian Healing Clay Mask What’s the secret of Indian Healing Clay Mask? LEARN MORE → So what exactly makes Indian Healing Clay mask so special? The secret in Indian Healing Clay mask is the natural calcium bentonite clay. This clay is known for its absorbent properties and usually forms when volcanic ash ages. It is believed that regular use of calcium bentonite clay in your skincare routine can help strengthen your skin barrier.
What is the skin barrier? According to Healthline, the skin barrier is the outermost layer of your skin. If it isn’t properly cared for, your skin barrier can become damaged. But, when your skin barrier is strong, it can help protect you from harmful environmental toxins. And while your skin barrier is keeping harmful stuff out, it helps to keep good things, like water, in. Beautiful, healthy skin almost always has a skin barrier that is well-taken care of.
Calcium bentonite clay is the only listed ingredient for this mask, so we can only assume that it is the secret as to why this product is so good. This mask is a great way to help protect your skin barrier when used regularly. Love skincare products? Check out my review of the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. How to use the Indian Healing Clay Mask woman wearing a towel on her head and wearing the Indian Healing Clay Mask The Indian Healing Clay mask comes in a dry powder form in a tub.
While being in powder form can help elongate the shelf life, you will need something else to make this mask useable. To create a face mask, the packaging says to mix equal parts of the mask and apple cider vinegar. I recommend using an apple cider vinegar with ‘the mother’ as this version of the vinegar is less processed and has more benefits than if it does not have ‘the mother’. You can use water with the mask if you have particularly sensitive skin.
Still, you’re likely to see better results if you use apple cider vinegar. You can even do half water and half vinegar! Apple cider vinegar has anti-inflammatory properties that your skin will love! If you do choose to use water, make sure you use purified water. Purified water can be found at most grocery stores in the baby aisle. For a smoother, less clumpy face paste use apple cider vinegar with your mask. Make sure you don’t make too much when you mix the ingredients.
You definitely don’t want to waste your Indian Healing Clay. Be sure you don’t mix your apple cider vinegar and clay mask together in a metal bowl.
